About the event
Engage with nature and discover the abundance of edible plants the forest has to offer at our Nature, feast and forage retreat.
Guided by the knowledgeable Milena Roux, a herbalist with a PhD in Plant Science, you'll learn to identify and gather wild edibles, gaining insight into their unique properties and benefits. Throughout the retreat, we will create a variety of natural products such as oils, ciders, and more, using the plants we collect.
Sofia Citron will show you how to integrate wild plants into our food by learning new recipes and enjoy delicious and colorful dinners together by the river, in the lavvo and in nature.
We invite you to start each morning with a refreshing yoga session led by Mai to energize yourself, or simply take a dip in the lake followed by a relaxing sauna to invigorate your senses and prepare for the day.
In the evenings, unwind after a finger licking meal with a soothing sauna session and enjoy the warmth around the campfire.
On Sunday, our adventure continues with a canoe trip, allowing us to experience the stunning Swedish landscape from the water.
We'll conclude our journey with a delightful forest lunch at a long table, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Come join us for a weekend of discovery, relaxation, and connection with the natural world.

About us:
Sofia Nagel @sofiacitron
I am a plantbased Chef, researcher and fairy human. I love to cook & bake, to eat, and I love to play.
The art of cooking and sharing nourishing food with friends, family and strangers is a love language that dances through my mind daily. Inspired by my family and studies in Integrated Food Studies, I see cooking as a form of cultural activism - to reconnect people to nature and create a healthy colourful and caring food culture.
My passion lies in exploring how people coexist with nature, using its bounty for both food and medicine.
Oliver & Natasha @belowpines
We are the creators of Below Pines, and are passionate about co-creating events and retreats in our forest. In addition to shapimg our forest, building, and envisioning ways for people to enjoy our forest, Oliver works as a game producer, developing games for TV shows. Natasha is a former school teacher, and together we have our daughter Frida. We will be responsible for creating the frameworl for the retreat and guiding activities such as the canoe trip.
Milena Roux @twistedherbal
I am a herbalist and teacher crazy about the magic of plants. I grow culinary and medicinal herbs at my small farm in Skævinge Nordsjælland and make everything herbal for family and herb lovers at markets.
I was as a research scientist in plant molecular biology before shifting focus onto medicinal plants and studying herbal medicine. In addition to facilitating workshops, retreats and private online 1:1 consultancy sessions about herbal medicine, I also teach biology to lab technician students.
I am very enthusiastic about empowering people to heal themselves through herbal medicine and look forward to sharing a cosy time with you.
Mai
I'm Mai, a yoga instructor who believes in the connection of caring for nature and personal well-being. With my background in engeneering focusing on sustainable agriculture, I am certain the principles we practice on the mat to nurture ourselve we can apply outside the mat to care for nature.
My teaching style is dynamic and warm, infused with elements of dance. Yoga has become my ritual, helping me reconnect with my body, find inner strength, and foster dreams.
In our morning classes, we'll explore the harmony between our inner and outer landscapes.
